Not at all. Every kit is designed for real people in real kitchens - not culinary students. The recipes are clear, the spice blends are pre-measured, and the experience is meant to be playful, not stressful. If you can boil water and chop a vegetable, you're qualified.

Can I add a personal note to the gift?

Yes - we can add a personalized note with the first order. Please add your personal note in the order page.

Can they choose which countries they receive?

Gift subscriptions are thoughtfully curated from our library of 24+ countries, with more added each year. Each box is a surprise - which, for most couples, is half the fun. They can also browse and swap once the gift is activated.

What if they're vegetarian, or have dietary restrictions?

eat2explore accommodates a range of dietary preferences. During onboarding, the couple can note any restrictions and we tailor their kits accordingly. Real food for real people - with all kinds of tables.

How does shipping work?

For the first order, you can indicate the preferred delivery date on the Note Section. We currently ship to all U.S. states and Canada. Orders are processed within 2–3 business days, and delivery times vary depending on the shipping carrier. Shipping is free for customers in the continental United States.
