eat2explore is a food and culture experiential cooking kit that brings global cultures to life through food. Each country box is a hands-on adventure—featuring authentic recipes, essential ingredients, and cultural insights that transport you around the world, right from your kitchen. Perfect for all ages and occasions—whether it’s family nights, date nights, or gatherings with friends—eat2explore makes learning about new cultures fun, memorable, and delicious.

Choose from a single country box, a bundle of boxes, or subscribe to receive a new featured country each month. 

Each explorer kit includes:

• 3 authentic recipes
• essential non-perishable ingredients (or the proprietary spices/sauce recipes for customers that opt for the “no-mix” box – see allergies section below)
• a shopping list for fresh ingredients
• a 16-page explorer booklet
• access to online membership portal - additional educational online materials, cooking videos and other content. 
• Family-focused box – cooking tool, passport, flag pin & sticker
• Adult-focused box - drink brochure complete with cocktail recipes for each dish, a mocktail recipe, and wine and beer pairings

eat2explore is suitable for ALL ages. We have something for everyone! Our family-focused kits are designed for families and children ages 5–12 with adult guidance. All our cooking steps are rated by chef hats for complexity and safety. We also offer adult-focused kits with drink pairings and additional content.

Yes, most of our packaging materials are recyclable.  Just break down the boxes and recycle accordingly.

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  You can also use PayPal, Apple Pay, or Amazon Pay.

Base Kit

• 3 recipe cards (4 adult servings) - with easy to follow step-by-step instructions
• 4-8 essential spice / sauce mixes (4 adult servings) - pre-measured for each recipe
• Shopping list - for fresh ingredients
• 16-page explorer booklet - immerse yourself into the country's geography, history, language, art, music, and culture as you embark on a world discovery (including music playlists, movies & books suggestions)
• Access to membership portal - an online platform for culinary and cultural exploration. Packed with a treasure trove of resources, including cooking videos, blogs, music playlists, movie suggestions, and additional recipes.

Family Kit (in addition to what is in the base kit)

• A flag pin & country sticker
• A fun cooking tool
• Passport

Adult Kit (in addition to what is in the base kit)

• 8-page Drink Pairing Brochure:
• Three cocktail recipes - each designed to pair with a dish in the box.

• beer & wine pairing suggestions - recommendations for wine or spirits to complement each dish.

Family + Adult Combo Kitt (base kit + Family + Adult)

Yes! You can choose individual country boxes or build your own bundle by selecting the specific countries you’d like to explore—all shipped together in one shipment.

For our monthly subscription, you’ll receive a new featured country box each month. Country selection is not available with the subscription.

Subscriptions ship monthly and feature a new country each month. You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account.

There are four types of monthly featured-country subscriptions:

• regular featured country
•  vegetarian/vegan optional featured country
• gluten-free optional featured country
•  allergy-friendly featured country (no mixes; recipes only)

Choose from four payment options—the longer the plan, the greater the discount:

• monthly
• 3 months prepay - 5% discount
• 6 months prepay - 10% discount
• 12 months prepay - 15% discount

All subscriptions include FREE SHIPPING within the continental U.S. (additional charges apply for Hawaii and Alaska) and renew automatically. You can cancel anytime.

Prepaid Plans: Customers on a 3-, 6-, or 12-month plan will continue receiving boxes until the end of the current prepaid term. Refunds are not issued for prepaid subscriptions.

We currently offer 24 featured countries in both regular and allergy-friendly options, 17 gluten-free optional countries, and 18 vegetarian-optional countries. Our country lineup may change periodically, and we add new countries every year!

Your first explorer box orders will be sent out within 2-4 business days of placing your order.  

For ongoing subscriptions, recurring orders are processed on the 3rd of each month. Within the continental U.S., boxes typically arrive within 4–8 business days.

Please note: eat2explore is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, incorrect addresses, holiday-related disruptions, international customs, or other unforeseen circumstances.

You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time! Here's how to manage your subscription:

• Go to “Log in” in the top right corner of our homepage (next to “Get Started”) at www.eat2explore.com.
• Click “Create account” at the bottom and follow the prompts to set up your account.
• Once your account is created, log in using the same email address used for your purchase, and you’ll be able to update, pause, or cancel your subscription.

NOTE - Our system does not automatically create an account at the time of purchase—you must manually create one using your order email. Prepaid Plans: If you purchased a 3-, 6-, or 12-month prepaid plan, you are committed to receiving the full number of explorer boxes in that plan. Prepaid plans are non-refundable. However, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time by following the steps above.

You can pause your delivery at any time through your online account (see instructions above to create an account). You also have the option to pause your subscription or adjust your delivery frequency (e.g., from monthly to every other month).

You can update your delivery address anytime through your online account (see instructions above to create an account). Changes will take effect starting with your next shipment.

Your credit card will be charged at the time of your first order. After that, charges will occur on the 3rd of the month according to your plan:

• Every month for monthly subscriptions
• Every 3 months for 3-month prepaid subscriptions
• Every 6 months for 6-month prepaid subscriptions
• Every 12 months for 12-month prepaid subscriptions

Absolutely! Our kits make wonderful gifts—perfect for birthdays, holidays, or family bonding. You can send a one-time gift box or gift a subscription (note: gifted subscriptions do not auto-renew).

At checkout, you can:

• Add a personalized gift message to be included in the first box
• Select the gift-wrap option to have your box tied with a red ribbon (for an additional $2.00)

No, discounts cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be applied to shipping or tax. Other exclusions may apply.

No, we only include non-perishable ingredients. You’ll need to purchase the fresh items listed on the provided shopping list. This ensures everything is fresh, lets you customize for dietary needs, and allows you to cook when you’re ready.

Our ingredients are handled in facilities that also process milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, gluten, and sulfites. While we clearly label any of the eight major allergens recognized by the FDA, we recommend using your best judgment when considering dietary restrictions.

To help accommodate allergies and preferences, we offer allergy-friendly explorer boxes that include recipes for spice and sauce mixes—so you can prepare them safely at home using your preferred ingredients.

Here’s a breakdown of our allergy-friendly options:

• Vegetarian/vegan optional – We provide vegetarian-friendly spice and sauce mixes. Although recipe cards may show meat or fish, the instructions include vegetarian alternatives.
• Gluten-free optional – We include gluten-free spice/sauce mixes and provide recipe substitutions to make each meal gluten-free.

Allergy-friendly – Instead of pre-made spice/sauce mixes, we provide recipes for you to create them yourself at home.

Our dried spices are McCormick-sourced and have a shelf life of over 2 years. Our sauces are hot-filled and approved by Cornell Food Technology; they remain fresh for over 1 year if unopened. Because of this approval process, the FDA does not require a best-by date. We produce fresh batches every month.

We use organic ingredients whenever possible, but we do not guarantee that all ingredients are organic.
