No - that’s part of the fun! Each country box is numbered, not named. Scratch the corresponding number on your New Year card to reveal your mystery destination.  Spoiler-alert - Need to know the countries before ordering? See FAQ to reveal the 5 mystery countries. 

Can I add a personal note to the gift?

Yes - you can add a personalized note in the order page.

How does the scratch-off card work?

Your bundle includes one scratch-off card featuring five numbered reveals. Scratch off the next number to discover your mystery country, then open the corresponding numbered box.

What's behind the QR code?

Each QR code unlocks special New Year content connected to the country you just revealed - including festive foods and drinks, cultural traditions, fun facts, arts & crafts, and more.

Do we have to open the boxes on specific dates?

No. Unlike a traditional Advent calendar, the New Year experience is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace. Open boxes 1–5 in order for the full mystery journey, or explore them whenever you’re ready.

What is the sixth celebration?

The sixth celebration is Nowruz, the Persian New Year. It is included as a special digital cultural experience and does not include an additional country box.

Is this a subscription?

No. New Year Around the World is a one-time purchase. All five mystery country boxes are included and ship together.

Are fresh ingredients included?

Your country boxes include pre-measured spice and sauce mixes. Fresh ingredients are purchased separately using the included shopping lists.
