The cocktail was born in America! The word “cocktail" first appeared in print in the U.S. in 1806, defined as a mix of spirits, sugar, water, and bitters basically, an Old Fashioned. Our USA drink brochure offers regional cocktails and mocktails, plus wine and beer pairing suggestions designed to capture the diversity and boldness of American cuisine.
All drink pairing recipes are curated with guidance from award-winning mixologist Anthony Caporale and the wine experts at IPO Wines. Note on wine: We highlight grape varieties and regions not specific winemakers.
