Lomo Saltado

Lomo Saltado is a famous Peruvian stir-fry dish that originated from Chinese immigrants in Peru. Chinese Peruvian fusion cuisine in Peru is known as chifa which comes from the Chinese words “chi fan” meaning “to eat.” Chifa uses Chinese techniques (stir-fry) and ingredients (soy sauce & oyster sauce) and applies them to local ingredients (potatoes, beef loin). Lomo Saltado literally means “jumped loin” – beef tenderloin stir-fried over high flame (“jumped”) with onions and vegetables.

Pollo a la Brasa

One of the better known Peruvian dishes in the US, Pollo a la Brasa is a roasted / rotisserie chicken packed with Peruvian flavors with influences of the Chinese and Japanese communities. The key to this recipe is the intense flavored green sauce, Aji Verde, that accompanied the roasted chicken.

There are so many countries with their own versions of stuffed mashed potatoes - croquetas from Spain, croquettes from France, aloo tikki from India, korokke from Japan, crocchette from Italy, and of course, Papa Rellena from Peru. Papa Rellena is a great comfort food that kids of all ages will love.

eat2explore is suitable for ALL ages. We have something for everyone. Our family edition kits are designed for families and children ages 5 and older with adult guidance. All our cooking steps are rated by chef hats for complexity and safety. Our adult edition kits are complete with mock/cocktail drink recipes as well and beer and wine pairings.

We include organic ingredients whenever possible.It is not guaranteed.

All our dried spices are McCormick sourced quality that will last over 2 years. All our sauces are hot-filled and approved by Cornell Food Tech; they will last over 1 year if they are not opened. We produce a new batch of spice/sauce mixes every month.

Yes, most of our packaging materials are recyclable. Just break down the boxes and recycle accordingly.
