Not authentic food

The meals don’t seem very authentic. I am super familiar with Mexican food, and the Mexican food box is more like Mexican with an American twist. So it makes me wonder how authentic the other countries are. If I’m going to pay as much as I do, I want it to be authentic. For what I get in seasonings, food and tools, it seems way over priced. I do like that it exposes my kids to other foods and they are more likely to try it, especially when they help me make it.

Travel Tuesday is now a must in our house

I have loved our eat2explore boxes. I have a 4 year old that LOVES helping me in the kitchen. We homeschool and this has become our Tuesday class. We do some crafts that go along with the meal. For a Greece box we made little toga people for each of us out of toilet paper rolls and made Caesar crowns to wear while we ate dinner out of paper plates and green leaves we cut out. I love that I can do any age with these boxes and can reuse the recipes and add in more about the countries again as he and his little sister grow up.

Great gift for your family and friends!

It is so much more than a cooking lesson. It has pictures and information about the country, culture, language, food, people and animals native to the country. In every box you receive a cooking utensil as a gift and a pin with the flag of the country. It has a passport and stickers. The recipes are very easy with simple instructions. Each step is pictured in vivid color. Spices are included too. You literally travel the globe and enjoy each country's history, culture and food - all in one box! I've had a monthly subscription for two years. My daughter and I put markers on the globe for each country, as we talk about the information provided in the kit. Sometimes, we even dress up in apparel to match. She loves it!

Good product

Overall was good. The adults enjoyed the food. The kids have a bit of a challenge to learn about new foods. We are only on second meal of first box. It was easy and understandable!

Great family time

If you have a little one who likes to cook this is a great way to introduce them to different foods from around the world. We get to spend time together making the dish and learning about the country that the dish is from. We look forward to each box each month.
