explore LEBANON (Family)

Lebanon's unique cultural history came from the many foreign rulers who occupied Lebanon starting with the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. These foreign powers helped shape the Lebanese cuisine as we know it today.

In our explore Lebanon box, we introduce families and kids to basic information about the country and one of the major Islamic holidays, Eid al-Fitr, a festival celebrated by all Muslims (followers of Islamic religion) around the world at the end of the Ramadan fasting month.   Included in the box are 3 popular recipes, and educational materials to learn about the country's geography, history, music, art and language.
