Includes Three Delicious Recipes
Feijoada, the national dish of Brazil, is a peasant, comfort stew of black beans and meat. Its name comes from “feijão”, the Portuguese word for beans. This dish was influenced by two early settlers in Brazil: Portuguese colonists and African slaves.
Moqueca is the dish that most represents Brazilian cuisine as it is an amalgam of Native Indian, African and Portuguese influences. The dish is also called muqueca or mu’kaka from an Angolan dialect, or pokeka in the Tupi Native dialect.
Pastéis - savory meat pastries
Most countries have a version of a savory pastry, and in Brazil they call it a pastel. Normally deep fried, our healthier version of the Brazilian pastel is baked, using flaky, puff pastry dough.

Great fun we love cooking together and trying new foods. He is so happy with all the little gagets!
We had so much fun making the goodies from the box, my kids really enjoy learning how to make treats and the recipes have all been very tasty all while learning about another culture.
Game changer for our family
Three meals a month to mix up the mundane meal we eat for dinner every night of the week. We absolutely loved the meatballs. My kids even liked them. Makes it so easy. I don’t need to think about anything. The choices are made for me and I love knowing they are gluten free.
It’s been great
